Every donation received from individuals goes directly to scholarships for those living with schizophrenia or bipolar disorder. Our scholarships cover tuition, books, mandatory fees, and lab supplies for our scholars' educations.
These suggested amounts are rough estimates of some of the costs related to education. Although we might not cover some of the costs described, scholarships provide funds to students that they might not otherwise have to fulfill their interests and enjoy life outside of school.
$500 Covers the cost of about 1 credit for a scholar's semester
$300 Covers about the cost of books for one class for a semester
$200 Covers the cost of a mandatory health fee per semester, for a scholar to see a doctor or counselor, or utilize resources like the Office of Disabilities
$100 Covers the cost of lab supplies or use fees for a semester
$50 Covers the cost of technology use on campus for a semester
$25 Covers the cost of a scholar taking advantage of recreation programs, like a campus gym or intramural team, for a semester
$10 Covers the cost of a scholar enjoying a coffee and treat during a late night study session
